Gift Bag with a Card

Hi Friends,
Made this project for Itsy Bitsy set Challenge :)
As this challenge is to make a set of 2, I made this gift bag and a matching greeting card. Here is the link to that challenge:

The flower is hand cut as I don't have the scalloped circle punch. I made the flower by drawing like this.

Completed the flower this way. I made the fringed flower technique for the middle of the flower.

Thank you :)

Handmade Book with matching Bookmark

Hi Friends,
Here is a handmade book with a matching bookmark. As this is the month of December- 'The winter season'  , I choose the theme as snow. I think Book and Bookmark is one among  the best set of 2 creations which complements each other.

I collected few leftover sheet in my old books and pinned them together. For the cover of the book I took 2 thick cardboard and covered with handmade blue paper.

I placed the pinned sheets in between these boards and made it like a book. Then I decorated the book by spraying white paint. I added Vellum, Quilled snowman, sentiment in the punched flowers and a pretty snowflake.

Made a matching bookmark. I made a paper cutout of a snowflake and pasted it to the bookmark. Also made a cute little quilled snowman for the bookmark.

This is the snowflake :)

Here are few more pictures:

Quilled Doll with Patterned Background

Hi Friends,
For the first time in my life am participating in a challenge. I am very much exited and tried my level best to complete the project beautifully. Following is the link to the challenge:
 http://craftyjc-challenge.blogspot.in/2012/10/craftyjc-unusual-wing-it-challenges-17.html

For the background i made the iris folding technique. I used the punch flowers for the border of background. Took drops of orange candle and used for the middle of the flower. As Jaya gave 3 color pencils and theme, i used the sharpened waste of pencil which i had been collecting from many days and placed the punch flower on that. and i tried to use more of only those 3 colors - Blue,Pink and Orange.

I made a doll using quilling technique which is 8cms. I attached 2 cute punched flowers for the hair and waist.
